Product Description
Penicillin G potassium has a moderate antibacterial effect on enterococci. Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis,Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Actinomyces bovis, Streptomyces candida, Listeria monocytogenes,Leptospira and Treponema pallidum are sensitive to this product. This product also has certain antibacterial activity against Haemophilus influenzae and B. pertussis, and other Gram-negative aerobic or facultative anaerobic bacteria have poor sensitivity to this product. This product has good antibacterial effect on Clostridium, Digestive Streptococcus anaerobic bacteria and Bacteroides melanogenes, etc. It has poor antibacterial effect on Bacteroides fragilis. Penicillin exerts a bactericidal effect by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis.
Function amd Application
1. For pharyngitis, scarlet fever, cellulitis, suppurative arthritis, pneumonia, puerperal fever and septicemia caused by group a beta-hemolytic streptococcus, penicillin G has a good effect and is the preferred drug.
2. Used to treat other streptococcal infections.
3. Used to treat meningitis caused by meningococcal or other sensitive bacteria.
4. Used to treat gonorrhea caused by gonococci.
5. Used to treat syphilis caused by treponema pallidum.
6. Used to treat the infection caused by gram-positive bacteria.
