Properties: white or similar white frozen dry powder. It is a proteolytic enzyme of human urine or kidney cells. The natural substrate is plasminogen. Sensitive to humidity. Soluble in water. Dry powder is stable at 4 ºC, and the stable period of aqueous solution at 4 ºC is 3 days

Purpose: biochemical research. It is a protease that cleaves plasminogen to form plasmin. It binds to the cell surface receptor (uPAR), regulates cell adhesion tissue remodeling and migration, and also activates the intracellular signal transduction pathway. Urokinase is composed of three domains: amino terminal domain homologous to epidermal grow-th factor, and protease domain bound to carboxyl terminal via central kringle domain
