What is Dexpanthenol ? D-Panthenol is applied in almost all types of cosmetic preparations. It cares hair, skin and nails.  D-Panthenol is the provitamin of D-Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5), which plays a key role in the human intermediary metabolism. Deficiency of Vitamin B5 can result in many dermatological disorders. Role in the skin: 1, deep penetrating moisturizer 2, stimulates epithelisation (fibroblast proliferation and normal keratinization) 3, wound healing effect 4, anti-inflammatory effect Role in the hair: 1, long lasting moisturizer 2, prevents hair damage 3, thickens hair 4, improves luster and sheen Role in nail care: 1, improves hydration 2, imparts flexibility

Fuction and Application 

D-Panthenol is fairly stable to air and light. 

D-Panthenol is hygroscopic and sensitive to heat; heating over 70°C may cause race mission. 

The shelf life is 36 months from the date of production when stored in the unopened original container at room temperature(below 25°C). The effective "best use before" details stated on the label. In aqueous solutions, 

D-Panthenol is markedly more stable than the salts of pantothenic acid, in particular at a PH of 3 to 6. 

DPanthenol can adjust the metabolism of protein, carbohydrate and fat, preserve the mucous on the skin surface and shine of the hair (or feather) and prevent diseases.
