What is Luliconazole ?

Lureconazole is a novel imidazole topical antifungal drug. It is a lanoconazole analogue that interferes with fungal cell wall synthesis and fungal growth by inhibiting the activity of lanosterol demethylase and lowering the level of ergosterol. In addition to the treatment of athlete's foot, femoral hernia and body lice, it has also been developed for the treatment of hyperthyroidism (ash nail), and has now entered phase III clinical trials.

Fuction and Application of Luliconazole

For the following fungal infections:
1. Tinea: athlete's foot, body tinea, tinea femoral;
2. Candida infection: interphalangeal erosion, rubbing; purplish or white patches on the skin.
